Clay Creators Class for Kids (Wednesday Afternoons)
Our Clay Creators Class will teach clay working fundamentals like slabs, pinch pots, and coils to create fun, customized projects. Students will design their own pieces (with guidance, of course!), build them in clay, and decorate them with a rainbow of glazes. Projects will include a personalized plate, a vase, a windchime, and an art cady or tool basket they design for their art supplies at home. We will learn about different culture and countries each week because clay is used around the globe and knits us together! All projects will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe. All materials are included. Parents can stay to observe or go run an errand. Members can use open studio while their child is in class.
Dates: Six weeks beginning Wednesday, March 12, 2025 (Makeup dates April 23 and April 30 if needed)
Time: Wednesdays 5pm - 6pm
Instructor: Marissa Hudson
