All Levels Pottery Wheel Course (Friday Evenings)
Begin your clay experience with the fun challenge of the potter’s wheel. We will teach you all the basics in this intro level class. Students will create a variety of cups, blows, plates, and (hopefully!) a mug. If you have experience on the wheel, we’ll help you refine your skills with trimming, decorating, and glazing techniques. Learn to throw taller, add handles, and make sets! All projects will be completed with food-safe glazes. Practice makes perfect, so extra open studio time is included. Your first bag of clay and use of basic tools are also included, so grab an old towel and get ready to get dirty! (All pieces produced will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.)
Dates: 6 weekly sessions beginning Friday, March 12 (Makeup dates April 23 and April 30, if needed)
Time: 6:30 pm - 9 pm
Instructor: Marissa Hudson
Includes: Open Studio time, 1st bag of clay, and use of studio tools and kilns.
